How Does Our Data Recovery Process Work?
The first step is to create a ticket in our system to gather information about the storage device you seek recovery on. When you create a ticket on our contact page, it will generate a case ID number for you to use to track the progress of your recovery. You may also update your ticket if you have any questions or would like to check the status of the recovery. We receive real-time updates any time any client makes an update to their ticket.
Office hours to drop offs only are Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m for drop offs. Fully staffed hours for repairs are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. and emergency services are available 24/7. Our address is located at 30 S Wacker Dr #2230, Chicago, IL 60606. You may leave your device with the receptionist. After we receive your device, an e-mail will be sent to you as a confirmation receipt.

Once we receive your device, the evaluation begins. Evaluations are free. Any updates will be documented in your case that was initially created for you. You will also receive a phone call as soon as we have any updates.
The evaluation process may take anywhere from 1-3 business days depending on the severity of the failure. For mechanical or physical damage, your drive will be opened in our clean room and evaluated by a data recovery engineer.
After the evaluation is complete, you will have the option to choose from three different service levels. The pricing varies for each service level.

After the recovery is complete, you will be notified immediately. Your data is extracted to an external hard drive, DVD (if under 10 GB), or provided via secure download on the web (if under 100 MB). We also back up the recovered data to our secure server as a precaution.
Once the entire process is complete, you have the option to pick up the new device or have it shipped to you. To ensure client satisfaction, we keep your original drive until you confirm that all your data was recovered as expected. We can then recycle or send it back to you.
